Join us: Dollar-for-dollar donation match

From Phillip Matar:
As you are all very well aware, Jamaica has been completely devastated by hurricane Melissa. Thousands are without power, water, and have even completely lost their homes and personal belongings. Entire hospitals have been destroyed, and those who need medical care the most are suffering. Basic human needs are going unmet. While the government is doing everything in its power to address these issues, the situation is dire and a true "all hands on deck" moment is upon us. For this reason, I will be traveling to Jamaica this week to purchase and distribute food, water, personal care items, building materials, medical supplies and offer medical services. I will be accompanied by Graeme Patrick, who has pledged his time and financial support, just as I have. We are raising funds which will go dollar for dollar directly to the people who most need it. With the help of our good friends at Taylor Financial, we have established a 501(c)(3) 'Curated Legacy' to ensure that any donation is secure, tax-deductible, and best of all, going directly to the people on the ground. I am proud to announce that we will be matching every donation dollar for dollar up to an aggregate of $20,000. Not a single dollar for our travel lodgings or food will be taken from donated funds. The trip will be well documented and you will be kept up-to-date as to how your money is being spent, and how many people will be directly impacted by your donations. I humbly request that you open your hearts and donate freely to an incredibly worthy cause where every single dollar donated will go directly to hurricane relief.
Donations can be made via our website, payment link or through Zelle, as noted below.
Thank you for supporting our mission. Your contribution is being made to a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. A receipt for your donation will be automatically sent to the email and mailing address you provide for your records.
